Someone once told me that it doesn't matter how hard you try, how honest you are or what you do, there will always be someone else there trying to make your life more difficult.  And the only thing you can do is your best and be true to the person you are.

My mother told me that...  when I was about nine years old.  It's amazing how it still rings true.

I took her words to heart all those years ago.  I've never caved to pressure.  I have always stood firm with my beliefs.  I have changed drastically through the years.  This site has been a reflection of those changes.

OK..  so you are here because for some strange reason you are curious about me.

Well in my opinion I am not a very interesting person.  But, since you have clicked on the button bringing you here, I will share a bit about myself.

Currently I am 40 years old.. yes that 40th birthday has come and gone.  Ya know what?  I am just fine with it.   I have been married for 19 and a half years to my very best friend.  Together we have two amazing teen-aged daughters who continue to delight and challenge us on a daily basis. 

As well as being a wife and mother, I am also a sister, friend, confidant and teacher.

I am a democrat who would much rather make love than war. <wink>

As far as sex goes.  I am straight and monogamous. Other sexual lifestyles do not offend me.

 I do not cyber or phone and any of those other things that some people find so enticing.
